Thumbs up!

Good news on the scale front this morning. . . my scale was the same as yesterday! I was worried that it would go up after I did Boot Camp, or that the number I saw yesterday was just a fluke (water weight, etc.). But, 2 days in a row is a good thing!

I was talking to my dad on the phone last night, and it suddenly dawned on me that . . I am only TEN pounds overweight. (OK, 10.2, but who's counting?!) :) This is like a miracle to me. The amount I have left to lose is what a lot of normal/thin-ish people want to lose. That is just incredible to me. My band works like a charm!! Well, with some participation from me, anyway! But it's just so SO so so much better than having to do this without any help.
I had another realization recently. One that took a loooonnnngggg time for me to get to. The other day, it suddenly clicked that I am over PP. Definitely a much better place for me to be!

I was just looking at your ticker the other day and thinking the same thing. I wonder though if you body will be ready to stop...bc I can see you passing your goal...esp if you keep working out and eating like you do!

I hope so. . I'd be really psyched to get to 145 (minus 10.2 will put me at 155 -- I am 5'6). But it's slow going and I'm really having to be careful about calories to keep losing at this point. I feel like the loss will just taper off at some point.

Congratulations... this is wonderful news. And you've made so many positive changes. My question: does it feel like a true lifestyle shift now? Does it feel natural?

I hope so for you (and for me....)One day, I would hope to feel like it will all fall into place.

Yes -- the eating thing does really seem natural to me. But, if I had to get an un-fill, I am sure it would be a big struggle not to go back to old ways. On the exercise front, it feels good, but I still have to force myself to get back to the gym/Boot Camp if I miss a few days.

Still, now that my body is looking so much better than it has in years, being so much closer to what I want to look like is really motivating. Knowing that if I keep up with Boot Camp, I'll just keep getting more toned and tighter-looking is a powerful motivator!

Only 10 lbs overweight? Amazing! I am always happy that if the scale doesn't go down, at least it isn't going up, although it is frustrating to be stuck at one weight for a while. You are doing great!

Ok.. am I blind? Amy mentioned your ticker, but I can't find it? Old age or what??
10 lbs huh.. what an amazing accomplishment. You've hit that spot where (I wrote a post about this yonks ago) my thin girlfriends would say.."I have a couple of stubborn kilos to lose...) and I would think.. "A couple!!! Just a couple..? Try 40 then tell me who's in trouble!"
You're amazing, and I hope that 10. something pounds comes off quickly for you.. You will be my first blog bud that has hit their goal weight while I have been reading. Love it (and you ... mwah!!!)
