What? Whose pants could these be?!? :)
Yes, ladies & gentlemen. . . these pants USED to fit me! But that was then and this is NOW!! I'm down 39.8 lbs as of this morning - just on the cusp of 40!! The bathing suit I'm wearing is from 2005 and was too small until recently -- I've been wearing it when I go to the pool in my building to swim laps. Perfect!
Here I am in a new green Victoria's Secret halter maxi-dress (sorry you can barely see that dress, but I'll surely post some photos this summer). The dress I'm holding up is one that I think would look particularly great on a fellow bandster, and I've offered to send it to her if she's interested. I'm probably going to put the other stuff on eBay or give it to Goodwill, but this dress still had the tags on it and was just too cute to not do make a present of it to a fellow bandster who is doing great!
As for these capris. . . can you believe they were getting tight at the end of last summer? Wow. I feel like someone came into my closet with a magic wand and made all of my summer clothes a few sizes bigger. It's so amazing and surreal to try this stuff on, remember wearing it, and really SEE just how much a difference 40 lbs (ok. . 39.8) :) can make.

Catherine - congrats!!! Isn't it an awesome feeling? I did the same thing on Friday with a lot of my summer clothes, and man - the pile has gotten BIG with clothes that don't fit! So exciting. Keep up the great work!!!

How wonderful! It's such a great feeling... I've started getting into the mode of buying new clothes and can't make myself quit... what to do... I know... keep shopping... I'm going to be in Dallas next week for work so I booked my room @ the Westin connected to the Galleria... My husband will hate paying that credit card bill next month....
