I'm about 4 months and a week post-op and thought it might be interesting to record a few things I've noticed about how I'm feeling.
* I'm almost 30 pounds down and feel really fantastic (despite that I felt hideous at this weight on the way up).
* I'm pretty calm about small gains on the scale, since I know I tend to bounce up and down a bit before each loss.
* The changes I've made toward food are now habit (I've been bringing my lunch to work now for about 4 months, am having a sensible breakfast (yogurt, oatmeal or a SlimFast) when/if I'm hungry in the morning).
* When I wear heels, my feet don't kill me right away, the way they used to.
* A cute guy flirted with me over the weekend and I'm feeling much better about having to start dating again.
* I don't want to cry when I see photos of myself. (In fact, apparently, I want to post them all over this blog . . . LOL!) :)
* I'm still being way too lazy about working out. At a fellow-bandster's suggestion, I've told myself that when I get off the next 3.2 lbs, I'm going to recommit to the gym.
That's all that comes to mind right now.
