About time!! It took a while for me to get off the 2.6 lbs that I gained while I was on vacation in Palm Springs! But, it's off now. Only one pound to go to the big six-oh!I had a great weekend -- on Saturday night, I went to see God of Carnage on Broadway with Erika. The play was great, and one of the best things about it was the cast! There were only four actors in it -- James Gandolfini, Hope Davis, Marcia Gay Harden and Jeff Daniels -- all of whom I really like. Erika and I were in the 5th row center (we actually were a row up and in a better seat than Al Roker, who was there too!) so we were in a great spot for it!
After dinner, we went to the bar at The Royalton Hotel, and I actually met a very nice, very cute guy named Christoph. He is a private chef, in town visiting from Aspen to cook dinner for some very high-ups who are in town for the United Nations. We wound up meeting up for brunch the next day, and spent most of the afternoon together, walking around, which was a lot of fun. I had a dinner that night, but we also met up for a drink afterwards. Very fun, and just the kind of day I had been missing! Unfortunately, he lives in Aspen, but such is life! I had a great Sunday, and my mind was definitely not on PP! :)

Congrats! 1 more pound to hit another major landmark for you. How fun to see that cast live. Jeff Daniels is from the Detroit area and runs a wonderful theater in Chelsea MI called The Purple Rose. He is a Michigan treasure and a huge Michigan supporter. I would kill to see James Gandolfini on stage. I have been to that bar at the Royalton many years ago. Does the loby at the Royalton look the same? I miss N.Y. You are so fortunate!
You CAN and WILL do it!! Come on 60!! Happy for you for the 59 too but come on 60!! haha. Your time out with the man from Aspen sounds like fun ~ glad you enjoyed it! ;-)

It's so fun to have a new guy... Yeah Aspen's far, but it's a lovely place to go visit! xox
Hi! Linda -- they redecorated the bar in the lobby of The Royalton a few years ago -- it's now all sleek and dark, and the champagne/caviar bar is no longer tucked in a discrete corner. It looks great, and this is a better layout!
BTW, I forgot to mention that I wore my new leopard print dress out on Sunday night! Felt very fab indeed! :)
Angie, you are so right. Nothing like a new boy (even if it may not go anywhere) to make things all sparky and fun.
Grrrrreat! 59 LBS! Just Like Tony the tiger, Grrrreeeat! one pound to go for another milestone. Your weekend sounds super! Nice to be with a new "man" Would love to see the Leopard dress..Enjoy each day...and remember "Life is not a dress rehearsal
I am very happy for your 59lbs weight loss.... and I am also glad to hear that we can still have little butterflies in our banded stomachs ;-) Best of luck to you and I am also looking forward for you to hit the 60lbs mark.
