I finally got my act together and bought some Mederma scar fade cream at the drugstore yesterday. I'd love for my two surgery incisions (thank you, Dr. Rumbaut!!) to fade to nothing, if at all possible. Mederma was a bit expensive -- around $24 or so for a little tube -- but I've heard from a few people that it's the best product to use. And, let's face it -- if I can fade those scars for only $24, that sounds like a bargain.
So, here' s a photo of my incisions as of yesterday (remember -- Dr. Rumbaut did my surgery with only two incisions -- I love that man -- which is why you're only seeing two here.) There's another shot of them, avec belly button, in an earlier post, just in case you want some context.
I'll post another photo alongside this one in a month or so, for comparison purposes. Fingers crossed that this stuff really works!

Anxious to see how it does. I have a tube at home i keep forgetting to use it .
As an esthetician and future lap-bander...rosehip seed oil will "erase" scars and stretch marks...even old ones. Massage in at least twice a day (never on an open wound!). I'm only this far into your blog (which is fantastic!) so you may have already discovered this tidbit about the oil.
